Rugby players are hulking men who are some of the toughest S.O.B.s on the planet because the game itself is a rough and tumble affair with players wearing not a stitch of protective clothing. Plus it has guys like Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira, a Zimbabwean-born rugby union player for the Sharks of the Super Rugby league playing in it, and as you’re about to see, Mtawarira lives up to his nickname with this amazing play he pulled off in a recent match against the Stormers. On a kickoff, Beast shows off his powerful upper body strength by picking up teammate Anton Bresler and lifting him up and over his head so that Bresler can make the catch, then holds him so that his mate doesn’t end up falling right on top of his head, in what can only be described as a sort of clean-and-jerk using a grown man.
