I've always enjoyed the crazy goals and the overly exuberant announcers that soccer has to offer. If only the powers that be were able to do away with all the meaningless running around and flopping, I think I could really become a fan.

  • Aaah...the beautiful game. It can be so good sometimes but you're right, the penalty-drawing "falls" have gotten out of control. I think that forward was as surprised as anyone at his goal. I remember a teammate who once kicked the ball from mid-field and it dropped right behind the goalie. But in soccer you take your goals however you can get 'em! Fluke or not.
