Badu insists he was cool with being on the bench

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu insists he is not unhappy with his role as a substitute in Ghana’s 4-0 thrashing of Sudan in a 2014 World Cup qualifier last Sunday.
The Udinese enforcer came on a replacement for the injured Asamoah Gyan in the second half in the heavy win at the Baba Yara stadium.
Speaking to Sunyani-based Storm FM, the 22-year-old stressed that he had no qualms with being on the bench.
“This is not my first time of being on the bench so I don’t know why people will make all these speculation,”
The former Berekum Arsenals player also explained the rationale behind his decision not to celebrate his fourth goal.
“Sometimes it’s good that you celebrate but I thought I was doing my job so I shouldn’t be too much concerned about the celebrations,”
