Barcelona says forward Lionel Messi has been cleared to play Wednesday's Champions game against Paris Saint-Germain after injury, but that he will start on the bench.
Messi hurt his right hamstring after scoring for Barcelona in its 2-2 first-leg draw in Paris last week. He missed Saturday's Spanish league game and was a doubt for the second-leg quarterfinal.
Barcelona has also cleared forward Pedro Rodriguez and defender Adriano, and included them in its starting 11.
All three players had been named in the squad with the hope they would recover in time.
Messi is Barcelona's leading scorer, both all-time and this season. He is the Champions League second all-time leading scorer with 59 goals, trailing Real Madrid's Raul Gonzalez's 71.
