Gary Caldwell is sure that his side will turn around their fortunes soon, claiming there were plenty of positives from their weekend defeat. Latics are currently 14th in the Premier League table with four points from as many matches, having won just one game so far. Roberto Martinez's side lost 4-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, but the Latics' captain highlighted the positives. "In the first half the performance was excellent and the application of everyone throughout the game was excellent," he told Wigan's official website. "We dug in when we had to. "We conceded soft goals and that was the disappointing thing but everyone right from the back to the front gave their all. You could see they were doing everything for the club. "As long as we do that next week and add a bit to our game, I am sure we will pick up points quickly again."
