Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world’s greatest athletes, so he sometimes has trouble finding someone (besides Lionel Messi) with whom he can compete.
Portuguese bank, Banco Espirito Santo, came up with a novel solution in its new commercial. It cloned the Real Madrid star and had the two Ronaldos work out together.
The spot starts with one Ronaldo jogging solo on a dirt road. The other Ronaldo soon joins him for the fun run.
The first Ronaldo takes one look at his counterpart and asks, predictably, if the second Ronaldo is wearing his shorts. From there, It was only a matter of time before the two decided to race.
Our Portuguese is rusty, making it difficult to figure out what the rest of the commercial is selling. But Ronaldo’s (non Portuguese-speaking) fans won’t mind.
By the way, Ronaldo won the race.
