Found May 14, 2013 on Holdout Sports:
RKC Waalwijk midfielder Jeff Stans accidentally took down a referee with a two-footed tackle during a Dutch Eredivisie soccer match Sunday. It was a strange play as Stans appeared to be attempting to chase down a pass that was behind him, then lost his footing near the referee as he tried to change direction. The referee laughed it off afterwards, but the truth is that Stans got away with tackling the referee without a penalty. How do we know that other players won't try this "accidental" move themselves?
