Republik of Mancunia:
Sir Alex Ferguson recognises that most of the non-United supporting football fans in the country will be cheering on Barcelona this weekend.
After winning his 12th English league title this week, he could win his 3rd European Cup on Saturday.
This season, Rooney has been banned for swearing whilst other players do it weekly with no punishment and Ferguson has even been charged for praising a referee. The manager had a sarcastic word or two for them in his press conference today.
“There’s tribalism, we understand it,” said Ferguson. “At least the FA are behind us.”
