Turkish giants Galatasaray are tracking Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof.

The Swede has had to deal with being pushed down the pecking order at United this season, as well as a few injuries, but I would still maintain that Lindelof is a decent centre-back with something to offer to team.

Especially after the World Cup because we don’t know which United players will be fit or injured after the tournament. Sweden missed out on qualification, therefore, Lindelof should be fresh to step in when the Premier League returns in late December.

That said, maybe Lindelof – the captain of Sweden – doesn’t want to be considered a fringe player.

We’ve had too many players over the years happy to just sit on the bench and take a wage, whereas some professionals simply want to be playing football.

According to A Spor, Galatasaray see Lindelof as an ideal replacement for current centre-back Victor Nelsson, who is being tipped with a move away.

Lindelof has played just one game this season, the 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad in the Europa League, so he wouldn’t be blamed for looking to move elsewhere.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United should sell or keep Lindelof.
