USA soccer star Hope Solo is possibly going to need wrist surgery. Seattle Reign FC keeper Hope Solo has not been included in the Algarve USWNT roster due to a long-standing wrist injury that may require an operation.
Solo has been playing through ligament damage in her left wrist and the U.S. Women’s National Team’s medical staff believes now is the time to heal the injury, according to a USWNT news release. Hope Solo won’t be traveling with the squad to Portugal in early March to play in the 2013 Algarve Cup.
