Landon Donovan was on Letterman last night. His possible love child and move to Europe were not discussed. The pair discussed his game-winning goal along with some basic soccer rules. After a rather boring interview, he and Dave attempted to kick soccer balls into moving taxi cabs.
I actually think the lackluster interview was due to Letterman’s laziness — and this is coming from a huge fan of the show. Letterman even set up Donovan to tell the story about his game-winning goal… by talking about the wrong game. In any case, it’s still impressive that Donovan was invited to appear on Letterman since the team didn’t really improve on its past performances.
