Manchester City are preparing a massive new contract offer for David Silva to consider. City are making their move amid talk of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez preparing a bumper offer for the Spain midfielder. The Daily Star Sunday says City are so keen to keep their playmaker they are ready to offer a new deal worth a staggering £52million over the next five years. The new deal would be worth around £200,000-a-week, which would put him in a similar pay category to team-mates Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Yaya Toure.
