AC Milan are looking to close the operation that would see Lorenzo Colombo leave on loan, according to a report.

Colombo somewhat exploded onto the scene in the early part of last season, featuring in preseason action and scoring his first senior goal against Bodo/Glimt, but he was loaned out to Cremonese in order to get more minutes after not featuring much after.

The striker is expected remain until Giroud and Rebic get back from their post-Euros holidays and then he will leave on loan to continue his growth, given that playing time could be hard to come by next season.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, the Italian teenager is indeed set for another loan exit as SPAL have shown an interest in securing his services from the upcoming season. The Ferrara club have reached an agreement with Milan on the basis of a dry loan, therefore no option to buy.
