With much of the Soccer world focused on Euro Cup and the sports world in general still focused on the NBA Finals, one MLS game this past week provided unusual intrigue.
A team went down by two goals and came back to win. Sure, it’s happened before, but it doesn’t happen often.
This comeback was even more special because an MLS legend was the primary reason for the victory.

After the Whitecaps had their most successful stretch in their MLS history, they fell back to Earth as they were routed 3-0 by the defending MLS champion LA Galaxy. All the goals came in the first half with Mike Magee opening the scoring off a set piece, then Robbie Keane scoring in open play and Landon Donovan scoring on a penalty.
