Long before the mainstream media woke up and decided to start treating Roy Hodgson with respect, this site defended the former Reds manager against the continual personal and professional ridicule he experienced at the hands of so-called Liverpool 'fans'. The disgraceful hounding of Hodgson is, IMO, a shameful chapter in the club's history, so it's good to see ex-players giving the new England
