Midfielder Nuri Sahin is returning to Borussia Dortmund , the club he helped win the Bundesliga title before unsuccessful stints with Real Madrid and Liverpool .
Dortmund presented Sahin at a news conference Friday. The Turkey international will reportedly be on loan for the next year and a half.
Sahin led Dortmund to the first of its consecutive titles in 2011 and then left for Real Madrid, where his career was slowed by a knee injury.
He spent the first half of the current season on loan in Liverpool.
Liverpool have ended Nuri Sahin's disappointing loan spell, allowing him to rejoin Borussia Dortmund.
The Turkey playmaker, 24, arrived at Anfield from Real Madrid in the summer but has struggled for form and failed to force his way into Brendan Rodgers first-team plans.
