Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has received a vote of confidence in the wake of reports linking Harry Redknapp with his job.
Chairman Vichai Raksriaksorn and vice-chairman Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn have issued a statement in response to reports that former Tottenham boss Redknapp had met club representatives to discuss a possible return to football management at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes began the season with four defeats from their opening seven games in all competitions, including a Capital One Cup exit to Burton, putting pressure on Pearson.
Since then, Pearson has overseen an improvement in performances which has seen the team win their last four league fixtures to move second in the table.
The club have now thrown their support fully behind Pearson.
The statement read: "Given the recent unwarranted and inaccurate speculation in relation to our manager, we wish to set the record straight in the most unequivocal manner.
