PLAYERS:
Peter Crouch
Stoke City's Peter Crouch scored an incredible goal in a Barclay's Premier League match against Manchester City on Saturday, delivering a perfect volley from the top corner of the 18-yard box. The ball sailed over the out-stretched arm of Man City keeper Joe Hart and into the far corner of the net, giving Stoke a 1-0 lead.
While the miracle goal will get Crouch plenty of consideration for "Goal of the Year," it wasn't enough to give Stoke the win, as Yaya Toure and Man City would eventually tie up the game and force a 1-1 draw.
