It was a mere 25 days ago that the east leading Sporting KC hosted the New York Red Bulls for a top of the table clash. Fast-forward to tonight and first place in the east is once again on the line in Harrison, NJ even though the Red Bulls are in third place. Sporting KC comes in as road warriors, one of the best teams in MLS this season away from their home grounds to Red Bull Arena, where New York is undefeated (10-0-3).
Sporting KC is coming off a 1-1 draw at home against the Houston Dynamo that saw CJ Sapong get a last minute equalizer to rescues the point. New York won over Columbus 3-1, after falling down a goal within the first three minutes of play. Thierry Henry won Man of the Match honors with his 2 goal, 1 assist performance and his possible goal of the year candidate in his olympico in the dying minutes of the game.
