Having recently shocked the footballing world when he announced he would be leaving Real Madrid this summer – 16 years after joining, Sergio Ramos is now on the lookout for his next club.

Although the Spanish talisman is now 35-years-old, it is understood that he has a plethora of clubs all chasing his signature and it’s understandable why.

With a whopping 22 major club trophies to his name, including a stunning four Champions Leagues, Ramos is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the history of the sport.

However, a failure to agree a new contract with Real Madrid will now see the veteran centre-back move on in search of a new challenge.

As fans wait to learn the fate of the 35-year-old, the latest in the ongoing saga comes from AS (via Sports Witness), who claims Paris-Saint Germain, as well as Manchester United and Manchester City have all made offers to the defender.

Paris-Saint Germain’s contract offer is described as ‘financially superior’ and is likely to see both Manchester clubs come up short.

However, interestingly, should Mauricio Pochettino’s pursuit of Ramos collapse then the defender is understood to prefer the Red Devils over rivals City.

It has been claimed that the defender sees United as the more appealing destination due to the club’s ‘history and greatness’.
