PLAYERS: Leighton Baines
Everton's 2-1 loss to Chelsea on Sunday was painful in more ways than one for Leighton Baines. The 28-year old received a nasty gash down his back after he and Chelsea defender Gary Cahill accidentally clashed during the second half. The incident occurred when Cahill's spikes shredded through Baines' jersey and skin, which left him with a pretty sizable wound. But after some brief medical attention, and a change of tops, Baines fought through the pain and finished out the match strong.Cahill was hit with a yellow card for his actions.Via Metro.
