Brandon Lloyd who did not play last season was also approached by the 49ers last season to play for them as well.

According to TMZ Sports, Colin Kaepernick is being investigated for possible sexual assault. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the incident took place earlier at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami earlier this month.
The investigation is in the ‘beginning stages’ and no charges have been filed at this time.

The San Jose Police arrested DB Chris Culliver Friday for felony hit-and-run and weapons possession. According to the San Jose police, they received a call reporting that a bicyclist had been struck by a car that fled the scene. A witness who saw the accident followed Culliver’s vehicle and attempted to block his vehicle from leaving the area.

Well that didn’t take long. Minutes after the start of free agency, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the 49ers signed free agent safety Antoine Bethea a move to replace Donte Whitner.
After Schefter’s report Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee mentioned it looks to be a 4-year deal.

Reports are the 49ers will cut Carlos Rogers at the start of free agency and will use the cap savings after his release for the 2014 season.
The 49ers will designate Rogers as a post-June 1st release which will give the 49ers an additional $6.6 million in cap savings for 2014. The post-June release will also factor in around $1.5 million in dead money for the 2015 season, however...
