Buffalo Bills win ugly, but it's still a win
Was it a win? Yes. Was it entertaining, enjoyable, uplifting? No. But these are the Bills, and I guess you take a victory any way you can get it.

Buffalo Bills defeat Kansas City Chiefs
This is one for the vault, but only if the plan is to put the tape of Sunday's Bills-Chiefs game in said vault, lock it up, and throw away the key.
"I don't see any ugly in victory; all victories are pretty to me," Bills interim head coach Perry Fewell said with a wide smile following Buffalo's inartistic 16-10 triumph over hapless Kansas City.

Bills Win Doesn't Change Reality
So the Bills go to Kansas City and win 16-10. To an extent I agree with Bills interim coach Perry Fewell that there's no winning ugly in the NFL... I get the fact that win is a win in the NFL.... but this was ugly - what you would probably expect from a match-up of 4-8 vs. 3-9.
I look at this game and what took place in a broader context of what has ailed this team all...

Sullivan: Some jump up and down, while others jump for exits
Perry Fewell strode into the visitors' interview room and let out a loud, exultant "Whooo!" Then, on his short walk to the lectern, the Bills' interim coach turned to the assembled media and said, "No. 2!"
Fewell's exuberance was understandable. His team had just hung on for a 16-10 win over the Chiefs, giving him two wins in his first four games as an NFL head man. The...

Bills' Jackson chews up Chiefs with extra effort
Fred Jackson doesn't leap tall buildings in a single bound. He's not faster than a speeding bullet or more powerful than a locomotive.
But the Buffalo Bills' running back sure is super when it comes to gaining extra yards with the football in his hands.

Chiefs should thank anyone who sat through this game
The ?process? has entered the pandering phase.
That?s the only explanation for Chiefs coach Todd Haley opening his postgame news conference with a disingenuous thank you to the 30,000-plus Chiefs fans who filled 80,000-seat Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

An argument ensued in the Buffalo Bills locker room over what happened on the last play of the game, an interception in the end zone by safety George Wilson.

The subject of size was broached delicately.

Bills lhold off Chiefs for sloppy win
Well, it certainly wasn?t pretty, but then again, it rarely is when the Buffalo Bills are involved.

Inside the NFL: Patriots' commitment called into question
One of the reasons the New England Patriots have remained on top is their focus and dedication to the task at hand. That seems to be lacking at the moment.

Bills-Chiefs scouting report
Breaking down today's matchup:
Find some offense
Think the Bills have trouble offensively? Kansas City isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut. The Chiefs' 265.6 yards per game rank 30th in the NFL.
Punch it in

HOF 2010: Steve Tasker
Steve Tasker is anecdotally considered the greatest special teams player of all-time. What that usually means is that, after leaving out the kick returners, punt returners, kickers and punters, he's the best special teams player ever. He was terrific in kick and punt coverage, blocked his share of kicks and punts, and was a pretty good kick returner and punt returner, too.
