Letting A Win Slip From Grasp…
A great opportunity rose tonight as New Jersey was playing short-handed and their All-Star, Deron Williams, skipped the game to be with his wife, as she was giving birth to their fourth child. The loss, however, gives the Warriors a 2-5 mark during this seven game road trip. An OK night from the starters but it wasn’t enough to beat the Nets. Brooke Lopez finished the night...

Much Needed Win
The Warriors were drowning a bit. Losing two straight games and on a long road trip needed some good quality wins, even if they come at the expense of sub .500 teams. A career high for Monta Ellis, he connected for six threes and finished with 24 points, 7 boards and 7 assists. Steph Curry was not far behind as he dropped in 23 points and the Warriors win 95-85 against the Cleveland...

Season’s Last Stretch
I hope everyone has been keeping up with the tweets and Facebook updates. I’ve been keeping a close eye on transactions as well as game info. Since the deadline has passed, the Warriors didn’t make any exciting moves except receiving Troy Murphy and buying him out while shipping Brandan Wright and Dan Gadzuric to New Jersey. They also signed Al Thornton and Jeff Adrian...

Warriors End Up With Troy Murphy
Big news the last couple of days. Carmelo Anthony gets his Christmas wish and moves to the great city of New York to help bring Broadway to Madison Square Garden. Now with the trade deadline on their the heels, the New Jersey Nets wasted no time upgrading their roster. Sources are saying that the Nets acquired Deron Williams from the Utah Jazz for Devin Harris, Derrick Favors and...

Fighting Until The Third….
It was an electric atmosphere last night. Yes, the Boston Celtics are old. KG is now a villain, Paul Pierce is a wuss and Rajon Rondo can’t hit a shot even if they paid him millions of dollars. So it was ideal that the Warriors get a good start to the second half of the season with a big win against one of the championship contenders.
Warriors started off great and played well...

Steph Curry To Represent Warriors At All-Star Festivities!
Watch basketball this weekend. Sure, none of the games that will be played this weekend will count towards anything except for bragging rights for the year. But it is a great break for the players and a great way to watch the best players in the league performing their ridiculous skills. Though the Warriors do not have an “all-star,” they do have Steph Curry representing...

Rolling Into The All-Star Break
Monta, Monta, Monta…ridiculous! How could this guy not be an all-star!??!!? Imagine if he had better role players to help the Warriors have a winning season? Coming alive in the fourth quarter, Monta Ellis carried this game on his shoulders. When his battery mate was having his most terrible game of the season so far, Monta stepped it up and left no doubt that he is the superstar...

Three Times A Charm
Warriors are winners again, beating the Hornets 102-89 at home. No monster game from our either superstars but it was more of the supporting cast that help the Warriors win. Our “Big 3″ came up tonight, led by once again, (all-star) Monta Ellis who finished the night with a measly 21 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. David Lee came through for the bigs and inputed 16...

Another Sunset On The Warriors…
Unfortunately the Warriors were unable to carry momentum and aggressiveness from last night as this look like a repeat of Monday as the Warriors were once again crushed by the Phoenix Suns. Riding the high from Monday, Steve Nash picked up where he left off and contributed with an 18 point, 11 assist night while sitting out the entire fourth quarter. Wingman Channing Frye added 17...

A Warrior Win!
The last of game of this home stand and the Warriors wouldn’t let the Denver Nuggets bring them down. Down by 10 in the first quarter, the Warriors took a lead at half and didn’t look back. A high scoring affair, Warriors sent out their warriors as Monta Ellis finished with 37 points, Dorell Wright had 23 points and 11 boards, while David Lee finished with 16 points and...

Awesome Post of Monta
I’m a big fan of basketball. Bigger fan of guards of all kinds, but point guards are my specialty. So I happen to run across SLAM, which has good basketball articles and on the front cover of next month’s magazine are two elite point guards of the game, Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul. Those articles on those two guards were fantastic but then a surprise towards the end of...

Last 5 Games A Win For Warrior Fans…
The Warriors were on a roll, winning three in a row and three out of the last 5 games. The 2 big wins came against good teams with getting a win versus Utah and making a comeback against Chicago and pulling out a win. Each and every tie, there is a constant theme, the theme that has been throughout the season. The captain, the leader and the heart and soul of the Warriors, Monta...

Some Interesting Things to Think About…
As the Warriors lose Monta Ellis with a sprain ankle and his iffness against the Clippers, Ellis is hoping that many of the coaches over look the fact that the Warriors do not have a winning record and give him the opportunity to be at the All-Star game. Just like Blake Griffin, whose team is rose than the Warriors, Ellis is a star that deserves the world to see as his numbers and...

Last Game of 2010
From the outset, this season seemed like any other season in the past couple of years. High expectations, but the team always fall short with lots of turmoil, drama and most importantly a lot of “L’s.” But things were in motion for this year especially when the team was sold and bought by an owner who seems willingly to spend money and get some good players. Not...

Santa’s On His Way…With Some “W’s!”
Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and enjoying quality time spent with family and friends.
I am sure the Warriors are enjoying their time off with their families as they prepare for their Christmas showdown with the TrailBlazers tomorrow in a jam packed day of basketball. Although, the Warrior’s game will not be the marquee game...

Christmas Comes Early For Warriors
Vladamir Radmanovic came to work early and left the Warriors and their fans with something to celebrate this holiday season. With two seconds left on the clock, Radmanovic took the inbounds pass and nailed a three pointer to send the game into overtime. From there, Monta Ellis took control and beat the Sacramento Kings 117-109. Radmanovic finished with a season high 15 points in...

Two losses In One Night
Losing to the Spurs was not a shock. It was sorta given that the Warriors would lose because: 1. Lots of games= tired legs. 2. Bench is not that deep compared to the Spurs or most of the league. 3. Just not enough fire power compared to several all-stars that the Spurs carry on their team. Not expecting too much, the Warriors were defeated 111-94 from a very good, solid Spurs team...

Tough Loss…learning lesson
Last night’s game was tough to swallow. The Warriors were playing ridiculously well, matching Dallas literally basket for basket and was up one at the end of three. Turnovers and lack of offensive movement doomed the Warriors losing a tough game, 105-100. No matter, tonight, the Warriors head to San Antonio to take on Tim Duncan and the Spurs.
Tough game to swallow, tough 10...

Thoughts….
Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been very sick and only now have felt better. The good news is that the Warriors have been playing better. The bad part of it is that the Warriors have been coming up short in most games. Finally, David Lee is back. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t graced us with a great game to where we can ride his coattails to a victory. Tonight, the Warriors...

Tired Legs
Sorry for the lack of posts when two games have gone by. I’ve been fighting a cold, but now that I’m feeling better, it actually came at at a good time. Lots of news coming from the Warriors corner.
First, I must say that this Warrior season has been a dandy. For now, the Warriors are undefeated at home. They have been on this grueling 5 game road trip and so far they...
