LATEST STORIES FROM BUCKETS OVER BROADWAY

Interesting twist for the future of the Knicks

So I happened to be reading Newsday this morning, and most specifically the Knicks blog on there and came across and interesting article from Alan Hahn. Very enjoyable read and really hit the nail on the head in that we’re investing too much hope into next summer and not built...

Knicks getting in on the Boozer Sweepstakes?

You know how Facebook has the “like” option for people’s statuses? Well, if this was a Facebook status and the “dislike” option was available I’d be disliking it virtually everytime I read it. Adding Boozer is a disaster waiting to happen and fortunately...

David Lee Saga almost over and Knicks call Bucks?

89064776
According to new reports Lee is either go to take Portlands offer or the Knicks 5 year deal later next week. If Lee does indeed resign he’ll sign for less then what he wanted this offseason but that’s how it goes in today’s economy and Lee needs to take it. There...

Nate offered a 2 year $10 million contract from Greece

So Nate isn’t drawing attention from any teams in the NBA, but wouldn’t you know it another foreign team is interested in an NBA role player. According to Newsday, Olympiacos has offered Nate ten million over two years. The great part about this is the Knicks still have...

Grant Hill picks Phoenix (again)

Hillnash
Hill has signed back with the Suns for 3yr/33mil. This really came as a surprise to me as Hill is already 37 and has little left in the tank. He played every game last season, but how much longer can we expect that from a guy with a career like Hill’s? Hill is a class [...]

Sorry for my absence

I was having problems logging in recently and had to reset some things so no worries I’m back and have lots to report! So before I go forth with more info I though I’d add something else to lift our spirits, or at least crack a smile? Ok, so maybe it’s not a pick...

So the Lee Saga NEEDS to end

It’s becoming quite annoying and the longer it drags out the more insane it makes Knicks fans. If Walsh is willing to let Lee go he needs to address the state of this team going forward. If Hill was your backup plan if Lee leaves, announce that. I’m getting quite fed up...

Knicks Have Made Grant Hill An Offer

The New York Post is reporting that Hill has indeed been offered the MLE from the Knicks. Now I don’t really know how to take this deal other then Hill will likely not take the offer. I’d be thrilled to have him here next season, and his tremendous work ethic and leadership...

Walsh not worried about next summer?

Picimg_curry_5fcc
Well, RealGM is reporting Donnie Walsh still has something up his sleeve and that likely means either Jared Jefferies or Eddy Curry is gone and hopefully Cuttino Mobley’s atrocious contract. This might be nice to hear, but as you all know Walsh is not on my top 10 list for GM...

Marbury finally speaks out against Knicks

So it took a while, but Starbury has finally spoken out against the New York Knicks. He targeted D’Antoni which is expected considering their disturbing past relationship. The New York Post is reporting Marbury is advising against superstars against signing with the Knicks next...

Jason Kidd will wait a few weeks to sign

RealGM is reporting Kidd will indeed wait a few weeks before choosing his destination for next season. The Knicks/Mavs appear to be the front runners for the aging point guard. The Knicks don’t want to sign Kidd if it will effect 2010, but if the Knicks can move Curry/Mobley...

What is going on?

So, within the last few hours lots of rumored trades are about to go down. Lee appears to be on his way out of New York, and is likely going to be packaged to the Thunder or Grizzlies for players yet to be named. Other rumors that have surfaced have been of course the sign and [...]

Nate and Lee for Rubio?

The Rubio sweepstakes appear to still be in works, according to Marca.com It appears as though the Knicks are still interested in acquiring Rubio and with Rubio skipping the press conference today with the Timberwolves it’s quite clear he’s either going back to Spain or...

Donnie Walsh is OVERRATED

Sigh. It feels good to finally let that out if I do say so myself. Walsh has one season left to build an attractive enough team to bring in the likes of LeBron, Bosh, Johnson, Wade, Amare, etc. He hasn’t proven that he is the guy we should have hired to deliver these guys to the fans. [...]

Words can’t describe the anguish Knicks Nation is feeling

All night I’ve been trying to figure out how I’m going to talk about how much the Knicks screwed up tonight. I’ve decided to just do a follow up tomorrow, so expect that sometime. So to calm my frustrations I’ve turned to my favorite image in the world.

LeBron doesn’t make the Finals

The Cavs are now t-minus one season until LeBron bolts to NY, unless the Cavs get a ring next season. This loss was truly painful to watch as LeBron was completely off from the field and just didn’t seem there at times. The city of Cleveland should certainly be nervous because...
