Walters Working Overtime

Mullen Evaluates Summer
Mid June is here and vacation time is upon us. Families will be trekking to beaches, water parks, golfing destinations, and countless other venues to get away from their daily routines but for the MSU Football staff this is a short lived proposition because as Dan Mullen sees it, “When we get back in July, that’s when it will shutdown into 100 percent football.”

Last fall, Chavez Sims of Mize made plays all over the field. Offensively, the 6-foot-1 and 210-pound Sims caught 65 passes for 1,223 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Broadway Ready for Next MSU Vist
Two weeks ago, Baton Rouge (La.) native Terrance Broadway took in a couple of camps at SEC Western Division schools. The 6-foot-2 and 200-pound quarterback prospect helped lead his team - Capital Senior High School - to the semifinals of MSU's initial 7-on-7 camp.

Barlow Keeps Busy Slate
During the spring, Kaleb Barlow and his Jackson Prep baseball teammates rolled to a 29-7 record en route to the Academy AAA state championship. Although school is out, Barlow has remained busy on the diamond.
