Cowboys And Free Agency
The NFL free agency started Friday 12:01 AM and so far the everything seems to be quiet for the Dallas Cowboys. They haven't even made a pin drop of a sound of doing anything in free agency. Is that good or bad? I believe it is good, the Cowboys do not need another high priced player on their roster.
I thought they would make a move for Antrel Rolle to put in the Free Safety...

Super Bowl XLIV: Saints Defeat The Colts, 31-17
Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for their first Super Bowl victory. I thought it was a well played game.
The onside kick at halftime was the turning point in the game. Momentum definitely shifted at that time. The Saints started slow in the first half, but after the so-called halftime entertainment, they just seemed they were the team to beat.
Not...

The Season Is Coming To An End; Super Bowl XLV Logo
Well, the Dallas Cowboys season ended in the Divisional Round in the playoffs against Minnesota Vikings. The NFL season will come to an end this Sunday night in Super Bowl XLIV. Who you got?
Since the Cowboys are in the NFC, I will go with the New Orleans Saints.
Pro Bowl was last Sunday, what did you think? It looked like just another Pro Bowl boring game...

Breaking News: Wade Phillips Remains Head Coach
Jerry Jones just announced at the end of the season press conference that he has extended Wade Phillips contract through the end of the 2011 season. There is no option on this contract.
If the Cowboys want to go far soon, this is a good step. If the Cowboys went with another coach, would there be a new system the team would have to learn? If there was change...

Cowboys Should Have Stopped Them And Other Notes
I didn't see that last touchdown that Brett Favre threw against the Cowboys, because I left to go home after the third touchdown pass knowing that it was over. The Cowboys were not coming back after that. Was it classless what the Vikings did going for one more touchdown? Yes, but turnabout is fair play, they do meet next season.
My opinion is the defense...

Vikings Finish Off The Cowboys, 34-3
The Cowboys could not pull off a win today, they couldn't pull off anything today the way it looked on the field. I am disappointed in this game in how it was played. They lost to the better team today.
Great job, Minnesota, you deserve the win. They came with the defense and the pressure and the Cowboys could not stop the pass rush. They couldn'...

Cowboys Own Brett Favre In The Playoffs
This from the NFC East blog on ESPN, but it has been mentioned in other blogs as well LINK
During the Cowboys' dominant seasons in the 1990s, they had to go through Brett Favre and the Packers on an annual basis. From 1993 to 1995, the Cowboys swept the Packers in three playoff games, including the NFC title game in '95. Dallas won those games by a combined 47 points...

Once, Twice, Three Times A Cowboy
Can the Dallas Cowboys do what many "experts" say it will be hard thing to do? The Dallas Cowboys in recent memory have had a difficult time beating a team three times in a season. Remember 2007, against the New York Giants.
This year is no different dealing with the Philadelphia Eagles. It may be a hard thing to do, but it is not necessarily impossible...

More Trash Talk, Jerry Almost Hire A GM?
DeSean Jackson Talks
Well, apparently, DeSean Jackson does enjoy some trash talk after all. It's all good, but so far he hasn't backed it up against the Cowboys...yet.
It isn't too terrible of trash talk, but this tweet from his Twitter account is coming immediately after losing to the Cowboys this past Sunday:
