According to Geoff Mosher, Asante Samuel has come to Lehigh today. He had been out on an unspecified excused absence.
Speculation has been rampant that Samuel will be traded. For his part, he says he wants to remain with the Eagles.
Having him around camp could make things a bit more interesting, for sure.

DeSean Jackson Holdout Ending Soon
We’re hearing and reading that DeSean Jackson could come to camp in the next few days. It’s our opinion that this absolutely would not happen without a new contract, so we think there’s been serious progress on that front between his team and the Eagles front office.

It’s Official, Vince Young is an Eagle
Vince Young has agreed to terms with the Eagles to serve as Michael Vick’s backup. Young posted a 10/3 TD/INT ratio last year and an outstanding 8.0 YPA.
Young has had a tumultuous career, being a part of many wins with the Titans but also openly feuding with coaches and management, as well as his teammates. The Eagles seem like a perfect career rehabilitation opportunity.

Eagles After Darren Sproles
Dynamic running back Darren Sproles is a target for the Eagles. He would obviously be the classic Reid running back. Versatile, but small (Sproles especially small).

Seahawks Get a QB, It’s Not Kolb
The latest buzz is that the Seahawks have come to an agreement with a quarterback but it’s not a deal with the Eagles for Kevin Kolb. Since many believed them to be the second team in a contest with the Cardinals for Kolb, that begs the question of “what now?”
There could be a third team. The Vikings, Panthers, Titans, and Browns - among others - all have question...

Domo says that he’s been told no announcement on a Kolb trade will come today. This leads to the interesting question of whether the Eagles will ask him to report to camp tomorrow. Awwwkward.
Reading between the lines: there’s more than just the Cardinals in on Kolb at this point. Advantage, Eagles.
