Well the good news is Barry is out of the starting rotation.........the bad news??? Visions of Armando Benitez flutter through my brain as I imagine the Giants clinging to leads only to watch them evaporate faster than box of Slim Jims on Rosie O'Donnells night stand. This is not a good idea.

THE GIANTS IN SECOND PLACE?!

Sanchez' 0.69 ERA is pretty impressive but what has me more impressed is the Giants are manufacturing some runs. Even Jose Castillo has at times done a pretty decent job of hitting the ball. Fred Lewis, Velez and now Burriss make this team exciting to watch. I know the pressure is on for the offense since the starting pitching and even relievers are winning the games. Aurilia finally...

Zito, stop tweakin PLEASE!!!!

At some point in the near future that 18 mil is gonna be the difference between keeping a young player like Cain, Lincecum, Velez, Lewis or whoever and the Giants aren't gonna have it. Why? Well, because 18 million a year goes to a guy who throws 82 mph AROUND the strike zone and likes to "tweak". I think Sabean was tweaking when he signed him. I am quickly starting...

Here we go Giants fans....

Off to a great freakin start.... Well, the Giants got the first loss of the season. Got that out of the way. No more need for opening jitters huh? The first of many to come. It all ended with Durham blasting a come-backer to Saito for a easy out. Thats the way the game went. Some crappy defense. No offense. The good news is that Giants will only improve as the season progresses...
