The young rookie is having his second tough game -- offensively, at least. He's still a pest on the defensive end, but he can't get anything going as teams are starting to overplay him a bit.

For the second game in a row, the Mavericks are blistering the nets.
After throwing in 66 percent of their shots Wednesday at Houston, they are hitting 50 percent against the Pacers and lead 66-54 at halftime.
And after Wednesday, 50 percent seems sort of average.

For the first time in weeks, James Singleton is seeing meaningful action.
He got teased near the end of the first quarter when Rick Carlisle put him in for Dirk Nowitzki, then took him out just 10 seconds later when Nowitzki went back in on an offensive possession.
But the 6-8 Singleton...

The end of the first quarter came with a somewhat unplanned play.
The Mavericks were trying to get Jason Terry free for a 3-pointer, but he was well guarded and his heave hit only the backboard.
