The Miami University softball team completed play at the KSU Classic with a split on Sunday. The RedHawks defeated Mercer, 11-4, in the opener, before falling, 2-0, to host Kennesaw State in the nightcap. Miami is now 3-1 on the season.

M. Golf. Men's Golf Back in Action at Mid-American Match Play
While it may finally feel like winter in Oxford, it is time of the Miami University men's golf team to begin the spring portion of its schedule. The RedHawks have traveled to Dade City, Fla. and the Lake Jovita South Course for a unique event, the Mid-American Match Play Championship. Rounds one and two of the tournament will take place on Monday, with the third round on Tuesday.

The Miami University softball team had a great opening day Saturday at the KSU Classic, winning both of its games. The RedHawks scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Southern Illinois, 3-2, in the opener, and followed it up with a 7-3 victory over Austin Peay in the nightcap. Both games were played with temps in the 30s and wild chills in the 20s.
