Panthers send Kris Jenkins to Jets for draft picks
The Carolina Panthers traded Pro Bowl DT Kris Jenkins to the New York Jets for third-round and fifth-round draft picks. The Jets quickly rewarded Jenkins with a $35 million deal, $20 million of which is guaranteed. Book it.

David Carr may have finished off any chance he had of ever completing a pass that didn't wobble more than Nick Nolte on a Sunday morning, but he still got nasty when he busted loose against the Bucs, jumping eight feet in the air and doing a flip en route to a Panthers first down.
