McKie posted this picture of Bo and his pimped out Auburn golf cart complete with a stereo system. Love the chrome steering wheel and headlights with turn signals.

TV Guys Were NOT Prepared For Nigeria vs Germany in the World Cup

So I’m not the biggest soccer fan in the world. I even blogged about not blogging about the World Cup. So today I decided to sit down and ACTUALLY try and watch one of the games. Then I saw this…… You would think every television executive would have been all over this when the match-up was announced for the World Cup. The question had to be asked “What...

Seabrook’s Quest For Two More Cups

Thursday night the Chicago Blackhawks crashed the Underground Nightclub and Greg Olsen’s Receptions For Research party. They brought the Stanley Cup, sprayed the crowd with champagne, and as you see they also took in some of the sights. Looks like the defenseman was on the offense in the wee hours of the night. Zing!

This is definitely NSFW. I guess this is what happens when you are denied the head job for the Arizona Diamondbacks and end up coaching in the independent league and “Playing For Peanuts.” Best line - “Let’s go get a beer Doc”

Michael Jordan At Game #5 Wearing A Jonathan Toews Jersey

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the Michael Jordan statue sporting a Jonathan Toews jersey in support of the Blackhawks. That article gained a little press since then. Well guess what I saw in the stands during Game #5 of the Stanley Cup Finals? The real Jordan donning a Toews jersey at the United Center. I guess MJ really didn’t care about all the hoopla about covering...

Phil Jackson Proves Everybody Hates Chris (Rock)

In case you missed it on Thursday night in Game #1 of the NBA Finals the Lakers defeated the Celtics. One other thing you might have missed was Phil Jackson telling comedian Chris Rock “You gonna watch the game or what” while being interviewed by ESPN. Yup, Phil just punked Chris Rock on live TV. Then moments later Rock decided to try and talk to Kobe Bryant. The attached...

Nationwide Golfer Doesn’t Like His Shot

Not a lot of people have heard of Nationwide Tour golfer Kevin Chappell. After extensive research (Google) I found out that he is currently the tour’s top money leader and sits in second place for most top ten finishes, 4, this season. Chappell found out at the Melwood Prince George’s County Open that playing in the PGA Tour’s minor-league circuit can teach you...

US Government Steps In To Aid Armando Galarraga

What do you think Armando Galarraga did the day after being robbed of a perfect game? Well this classy gentleman brought out the Tigers lineup to Jim Joyce and the rest of the umpiring crew at home plate and shook hands. If that wasn’t enough General Motors presented Galarraga with a Chevy Corvette in honor of his effort and sportsmanship last night. Now doesn’t the...

White Kids Rapping About The Blackhawks

What happens when a couple of Chicago Cubs fans get together to write a Blackhawks bandwagon rap song? This happens. Maybe this will replace Chelsea Dagger after every goal next season. I’m sure John McDonough is working out a contract with them as we speak.

Houston Astros + Kittens = Calendar Spread

Anyone need a new calendar in the middle of 2010? Well if you do be on the look out for members of the Houston Astros posing with animals for a shoot with the Houston Humane Society. What the Puck Chris Pronger!

Chris Pronger’s practice of retrieving and throwing away the game puck following the Flyers Game #2 loss to the Blackhawks really irked Chicago forward Ben Eager. When asked if taking the puck might give the Hawks some added incentive in Game #3, Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said: “What added incentive do they have now? They’re mad? They’re angry?”...

The Michael Jordan Statue Is Sporting A Toews Jersey

Not sure about this one but the fine folks at the United Center placed a Jonathan Toews jersey on the Michael Jordan statue. Personally I don’t think you should ever cover up the Jordan #23 with any other jersey. They should just leave that to the dinosaur and lions. They should just put a Blackhawks #23 jersey over it. We all know Michael loves to support the Blackhawks.

Zambrano’s Appendix To Explode Like His Starting Job

As if Carlos Zambrano hasn’t had enough troubles this season. The Cubs confirmed that Zambrano was taken to the hospital today and is undergoing tests for an apparent appendicitis. As if things couldn’t get any worse for the team today they also have to deal with Jeff Baker’s vision problems. Looks like Big Z just can’t help it from having something explode...

To The Blackhawks Mobile!!!!

Meet John Tolley and his 1991 Dodge Spirit. You see Tolley is such a committed Blackhawks fan that he is willing to destroy his wife’s car with a sharpie….by painting Patrick Sharp on it. And as the Blackhawks advanced deeper into the playoffs he just kept painting and adding current and former players to the car. We have yet to hear any word on if Coach Q’s mustache...
