Pronger Signs Extension; Victorino Voted In
The Flyers did not waste anytime getting Chris Pronger locked up to a new deal to solidify the trade. The Flyers did give up a lot but now they have a fantastic defenseman here for the rest of his career. Totally worth it. Just think about Pronger and Timonen on the power play and penalty kill. Crosby, Malkin, and Ovechkin beware! The deal is a seven year, for thirty five million...

2009 NHL ENTRY DRAFT
Howdy from Ottawa....draft night!
No surprises through the top 3 picks.

The rumour now is Flyers F Daniel Briere is going to be moved (Montreal?) to make cap room for Pronger. The Ducks on the other hand save $1 mil. on the...

There's Complete Peace in This Press Box
For the second consecutive evening I am seated in the Giant Center press box about five feet away from former Flyers' peacekeeper Dave Brown. Am I intimidated? Well, let's just say that it's always "Mr. Brown" in my addresses to him, and I am what might be termed deferential when we simultaneously pursue refreshments. Hey, I think George McPhee, were he here...
