Oakland Raiders: Walker's injuries shouldn't be an issue

As the Javon Walker story unfolds, more twists and turns seem to continue to turn up. A once thought possible career threatening injury is said to be a non-issue for Walker's return to the Raiders. Walker is planning on being on a plane to Oakland this evening where the Oakland Raiders team doctors are expected to give him a significant checkup.

Raiders Walker released from hospital

Javon Walker was released from the hospital Wednesday following injuries that he received early Monday morning off of the Las Vegas strip. Las Vegas PD has said that he's hospitalized, so it may be that he's in another hospital outside of Las Vegas while he recovers from a concussion and an orbital fracture sustained in the mugging.
