Stassi Goes to the Phillies in Round 33 of MLB Draft
RENO, Nev. - Former Nevada baseball standout Brock Stassi was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 33rd round of Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft today. Stassi was selected in the 44th round by the Cleveland Indians in 2010, but chose not to sign and returned to Nevada for his senior season.

Reach USA Splits Two Games With Squad From Brazil
CHINA – Reach USA ended its nine game trip to China splitting two games with a squad from Brazil. The team dropped a 106-105 game then followed that with a 90-82 victory in the final game of the trip to go 6-2-1. Reach USA was 5-1-1 in its series with Lithuania Atletas.

Nevada Wins WAC Tournament Elimination Game 15-4 Over New Mexico State
MESA, Ariz.. - The University of Nevada (24-30) baseball team defeated New Mexico State University (34-24) 15-4 in a Western Athletic Conference Tournament elimination game that ended after seven innings due to the 10-run. The Wolf Pack scored a season-high 15 runs in the game on 10 hits.
