James makes surprise appearance at Nike camp
LeBron James made a surprise appearance at his Nike skills camp today. James wasn’t expected in until tomorrow. He arrived wearing a white t-shirt and Yankees cap, but when he switched into his workout clothes, he looked to be in better shape than ever. And that’s saying something.

LeBron’s meetings conclude
LeBron James’ free agency meetings have concluded. The Chicago Bulls went last and took full advantage, meeting with James for three hours before leaving to a chorus of boos from the fans who lined both sides of the IMG parking garage.

One of the sillier moments in a crazy weekend. Servicemaster Clean owner Enzo Maddalena climbed in his crain, stood over E. 9th St. and hosed passing cars while holding one of the “Home” signs the Cavaliers were passing out.

Heat out, Clippers in at IMG
Three teams down, at least three more to go.
The Miami Heat took its turn talking to LeBron James Friday at the IMG Building in Downtown Cleveland.
They obviously had a lot to talk about; the meeting lasted nearly three hours.

Day One Recap
All of the key parties from today have left the IMG building. LeBron James was the last to leave, wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt and sunglasses.
The Knicks left in four vehicles after a meeting that lasted nearly 2 1/2 hours. The Nets’ meeting with James earlier in the day concluded after about 90 minutes. James was the last to leave in a Range Rover (second vehicle in the video below)

Frenzy building outside IMG
The longer the day goes, the more the crowd of media and passers-by swells.
Earlier in the day, before LeBron James and any of the team arrived, Cavs PA announcer Olivier Sedra was one of those holding a “Home” sign in support of James. A police officer stopped him to ask if he had a permit to protest. After apparently checking his ID, the officer let him go.

Nets out, Knicks in
The New Jersey Nets’ meeting with LeBron James lasted about 90 minutes. As the Nets were leaving, the Knicks were arriving. Coach Mike D’Antoni, team president Donnie Walsh and Allan Houston were part of the Knicks’ traveling party.
