Game Recap: Iowa Energy vs. Erie BayHawks
The Iowa Energy had a whole week off from play and came out strong Sunday afternoon and took the Erie BayHawks down 133-126. The game was close throughout, with both teams showing shooting around 50%. Iowa took advantage of the many BayHawk turnovers and scored 22 points on the break compared to Erie’s 2 points on the break.

Game Recap: Iowa Energy vs. Idaho Stampede
The Iowa Energy suffered a 144-112 loss to the Idaho Stampede Sunday afternoon. (Their first loss since I began covering them here at PAE.) You cannot blame the Energy though, the Stampede shot 56% from the field and scored 76, yes, 76 points in the first half alone. The Iowa Energy won, what a surprise! This is their seventh straight victory. The final score was 99-90, the Energy’s leading scorer was Marqus Blakely. Courtney Sims recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Iowa’s Othyus Jeffers Signs With Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs have signed Iowa Energy guard Othyus Jeffers to a 10 day contract. Jeffers is the 11th call-up of the 2010-2011 season.
