Report: Ankle surgery for Gronkowski
By Mike McDermottThe Boston Herald is reporting that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had arthroscopic surgery on Friday morning to repair his injured ankle.
According to the report, Dr. George Theodore performed the surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Theodore has previously operated on Dustin Pedroia, Tom Brady and Curt Schilling.
The recovery time is expected to be about 10 weeks.

An online pawn shop called Pawngo, which is based out of Denver, delivered 900 pounds of the Nestle candy bar Butterfingers to Copley Square in Boston on Tuesday with a sign saying "Thank you Wes Welker."
