Welcome back to big leagues Jon Lester. Lester making his first start in 11 months after being diagnosed with cancer was triumphant in his return, with a 6-2 victory. Red Sox bats heating up

While The Yankees were pounded the Tampa Bay pitching staff into the ground, the Red Sox bats have gotten hot as well with the White Sox in town. The Sox with RISP the final three games of series were 13-31 with 28 rbi's, that's getting the job done.

This season is slowly turning into a carbon copy of last year, while the injury bug has hit us hard it hasn't been as bad as last year yet. The Sox are 20-23 in their games since June 1st. With the Yankees not facing a team with an above .500 record until August 10th, a span of 22 games, they are in the right spot to make a huge move and get back into the AL East race. Over that same time period, the Sox will play 10 games against teams...
