Welcome back Jon Lester
Welcome back to big leagues Jon Lester. Lester making his first start in 11 months after being diagnosed with cancer was triumphant in his return, with a 6-2 victory.
"The emotions were running high in Cleveland last night, and Lester was outstanding in his return to the mound, pitching 6 innings and limiting the dangerous Cleveland lineup to 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 6"

Sox lead is shrinking
Don't look now but the lead in AL East is down to 8 games as The Red Sox continue to play .500 ball over their last 40 games.
