Here's a bit of sad news from Cardinals nation. Max Lanier, who pitched in three consecutive World Series for St. Louis during World War II, died Tuesday Jan. 30 at age 91. Former GM 'Bing' Devine dies
Vaughan "Bing" Devine, the influential Cardinals general manager from 1958-64 and 1968-78, died Saturday at the age of 90.
