NIS, Serbia (SMU) - Former SMU men's tennis All-American, Johan Brunstrom, helped Sweden earn its lone victory in the first round of the squad's Davis Cup series versus Serbia. Brunstrom teamed with Robert Lindstedt to defeat Janko Tipsarevic and Nenad Zimonjic in a four-hour-plus thriller that ended 6-3 3-6 6-7(4) 7-6(3) 10-8.

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico (SMU) - In conditions that made low scores ripe for the taking, the SMU women's golf team began its move up the leaderboard today, shooting a combined 301 in the second round of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
