Whelan Finishes First In Mile At Cornell

Freshman Joseph Whelan’s first place finish in the mile run with a BIG EAST qualifying time of 4:17.34 led the charge for the Syracuse track and field team this weekend at the Kane Invitational in Ithaca, N.Y.
