My CCENT Journey: Failure to Success?

Yup, I failed the CCENT. The Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) is supposed to be the easiest of all Cisco exams. So after I finished my first class in my Masters of Information Systems program, which happened to be Introduction to Telecommunications Networks, I figured I’d give the Cisco exams a shot.

Mark Sanchez is the Jets Starter, Get used to it!

Mark Sanchez, you’re Jets starting QB I’ve seen an unbelievable amount of complaints and noise from countless Jets fans moaning and ******** about Mark Sanchez, especially after the Jets loss to the Patriots in overtime. I’ve seen Jets fans calling for the team to start Tim Tebow. I’ve even seen Jets fans calling for the team to start Greg McElroy, who hasn’t even suited...

Jets Lose Heart-breaker to Patriots in OT

The Jets made it close, but lost in OT. That one is going to sting for quite a while. The New York Jets hung around against the Patriots, coming back from down 10 points in the 4th quarter to have the lead, but gave it away in the final two minutes and overtime. The Jets had the game in their hands after the ineptitude of the Patriots almost lost it, but due to a few poor plays and...

Jets vs Patriots: Who will win? The 3-3 New York Jets are taking on the 3-3 New England Patriots in a battle of for mediocre AFC East supremacy, but who will win? Not the Jets, according to much of the outside world. Las Vegas has the Jets listed as +11 point underdogs, even though the Patriots are coming off a poor loss in Seattle to rookie QB Russell Wilson. No one outside of New...

The Jets are mediocre (at best), but the sky isn’t falling

Are the Jets terrible, mediocre, or good?Yes, I said it. The Jets are a mediocre football team, even on their best day. There are multiple factors causing the mediocrity of the New York Jets, with the largest component being injuries, but let’s face it, the Jets just aren’t that good. There are many different problems facing the Jets, but let’s not start jumping ship and acting...

Does Woody Johnson care about winning?

Woody Johnson: no hair don’t care?I’d rather see Mitt Romney win this election than the Jets having a winning season. This is what Jets owner Woody Johnson implied when asked if he would you rather have a winning Jets season or a victorious presidential election for Mitt Romney?Organizations and teams that win championships, for the most part, have one thing in common. They have...

Interview with Rob Carpenter: Former Jet WR

Rob Carpenter: Former New York Jet If you’re a New York Jets fan, you probably have a lot of concerns right now. Injuries have sidelined Darrelle Revis and Santonio Holmes for the season, many fans and media are calling for Tebow to start, Mike Tannenbaum’s job may be on the line, and the list goes on and on. I recently spoke with former New York Jets wide receiver, Rob Carpenter...

Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don’t: The Life of a Jets Fan

The passion, the anger.. The Jets fan! I am not a “long suffering Jets fan” and definitely not a “same old Jets fan”, I am a positive person who loves to root for my team.  My problem is that no matter where I look I am surrounded by a media that is looking to tear down the team whether or not what they write is true or even factual and even worse a fan base full of reactionary...

Jets beat Dolphins in OT: Revis Hurt

Jets, Santonio Holmes celebrate win A win is a win isn’t it? We’ll that’s what I’ll tell my self this week. The Jets played AWFUL on both sides of the ball in Miami but somehow eeked out a win against the Dolphins thanks to two missed field goals and some dumb luck. It certainly wasn’t Mark Sanchez’s best football game at QB and the Jets defense continued to look like...

Jets lose in Pittsburgh: Can’t Catch or Tackle

Jets couldn’t wrap up the Steelers Well, that was fun wasn’t it. So much for the Jets potent offense. After coming out in the first drive of the game and rolling down the field for a touchdown, the Jets weren’t able to repeat the effort again all game. The Jets offense was putrid down the stretch and the Jets defense couldn’t make any stops when it mattered down the stretch...

If Mark Sanchez stays hot, is Tim Tebow useless?

Mark Sanchez the starter: Tim Tebow, useless? In Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills, Mark Sanchez was on fire, leading many people to call the game his best as a Jets QB yet. While expecting Sanchez to play in a similar fashion every week isn’t very realistic, it’s definitely possible for Sanchez to make a huge leap in his 4th year in the NFL. If Mark Sanchez does maintain a similar...
