FWIW-Defense

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/pos...d-roll-offense I think Ricky was pretty worn out, and probably pretty bruised from some of those picks at the end of the game. I imagine that how the Wolves defended Lin in the 2nd half will become standard operating procedure. I also imagine that Lin will begin to wear down, just like everyone else does as he plays more minutes.

The Good, Bad and Ugly Knicks

The Good; KLove was very good on offense again tonight scoring 32 and pulling down 21 rebounds. Ricky played better tonight scoring 12 and assisting on 8 baskets. Pek was solid again contributing 21 and 13. Fourth largest crowd in Target Center history. The Bad; failing to go to Love or Pek late in the fourth was bad basketball. Ellington and Wes were bad tonight neither contributed...

A new record-

Not for Turnovers- but for Kevin Love. He now has had his 6th 30-20 game of his Wolves career. Kevin Garnett had 5 while a Wolf. Kind of amazing how Love has already done that in his career.

The cost of being fun to watch

Ticket Prices go up.http://www.startribune.com/sports/wo...tml?page=1&c=y We have season tickets up in the 2nd deck- center court for 5 bucks a game per seat. So my hubby can take my son to a Wolves game for 10 bucks- and on top of that Metro Transit is free with a ticket as well. We were promised that for next season we would get the same deal, the loyalty program...

Lin vs Rubio

I'm looking forward to watching tonight's game and the matchup between Rubio and Lin. Hopefully our smaller lineup will make it harder for Lin to penetrate and then dish out to the perimeter. I like Rubio's defense and I think that Lin can be kept in check. But, I'd be lying if I didn't say I am one of those guys who is impressed with what Jeremy Lin has been doing. On a...

Adelman wants Lee to play two more games in Sioux Falls, hoping by then Mr. Lee will know he's in South Dakota and not Iowa.

The Good, Bad and Ugly Dallas

The Good; Simply KLove was a beast on offense again. Beasley played well on offense tonight but was pulled two time because of his foul trouble. The Bad; Where to begin? JJ played another ho hum game hitting a three with nothing much else. Ricky was terrible in the first half too many turnovers on some forced passes. Webster made some bonehead mistakes and did not contribute...

Today's Simmons article

I haven't read a Simmons article in 2 years, but I was interested to see what he would say about Love/Rubio and the ASG. Take a look. I barely read this though and just focused on the Twolves pointshttp://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...-all-star-team Scroll to the bottom ... YESSSSSS

Let's hope the team doesn't flop tonight.

I would like to try a starting lineup of...

Rubio, Ellington, Williams, Love and Pekovic for a while. I think it's time we unleash the lion, and see if Williams can play significant minutes at the three. I'm okay with Rid starting at shooting guard, but I kind of like the idea of bringing him and Barea off the bench. I just really want our starting group to start games better offensively. I also want to see what Randolph...

Vikings show interest in CB Stanford Routt

Despite being released by the Raiders this week, cornerback Stanford Routt still gets his $20 million guaranteed from the five-year, $54.5-million contract he signed last year and likely will have the luxury of picking his own team. Apparently the Vikings would like to be in that mix. ESPNDallas.comÂ’s Calvin Watkins caught up with RouttÂ’s agent, Vann McElroy, who said...

Wins Produced stat: how the Wolves are winning more games this year

All the conclusions I will post are based strictly on the wins produced stat, which IMO is the best stat in explaining why a team wins or loses basketball games. The wins produced stat had us at 13.4 wins before last night (and last night surely reduced this) so the stat is pretty dead on for the Wolves win production. 25 games in (the stat has not been updated from last nightâ...

The Good Bad and Ugly Grizzlies

The Good; hmm this was a hard one but I have to pick at least one; JJ Barea gets the nod along with DWill going for 13 and 9. The Bad; plenty of candidates Ricky was rough tonight too many turnovers combined with poor shooting. The Ugly; Luke played ugly on offense and Poindexter was too big for Luke on D. This was the worst close game of the season. Wolves looked...

The Good, Bad and Ugly Kings

The Good; Pek was a beast again scoring 23 and pulling down 10 rebounds. DWilliams played a solid game with 14/8. Rubio all around good game filling the stat sheet 6pts, 6rebs, 14assts and 5 steals. Beasley pulled down 14 rebounds. The Bad; Beasley shot too much giving me flashbacks to last year forcing the ball to Beas too many times late in the fourth. The Ugly; I thought...

I won't be able to watch it but

I'm really looking forward to tonights game. These two days should be a good opportunity for either Williams, Beas, or Randolph to step up and get some confidence going. Hopefully one of these guys starts developing some kind of consistency.

Love's apology and Lee to NBADL
