Buckeyes Defeated, the Browns Surprise the Jaguars and the Bengals.....oh, never mind
Grrrrrrrr.... The weekend that was.
Ohio State. It happens. You can't win them all. There's always next year. Blah. Blah. Blah. What do you do with this loss? Do you blame the play-calling? Do you blame the defense (though they did play well against a team that averaged over 40 points per game so they should not be to blame. Although, couldn't they at least held...

Denial. Anger. Bargaining. Depression. Acceptance?
"I'm not sure he'll ever speak to me again (but) I think it's the right thing to do," Tressel said.Tressel said the decision to not play Wells was his alone after talking the matter over with medical personnel. The coach said he is concerned that letting Wells play might expose him to further risk of injury." (Dispatch)

Diva's Guide To Sports: Moving On From Your Olympic Crush
I didn't know exactly how I was going to get over Michael Phelps. He came back into my life on Saturday August 9th and I couldn't wait to sit in front of the television screen every night after work to see him again. To see his smile, to see the beautiful way that he swims, and just to see anything and everything about him. Then when he won his 8th gold medal I was so proud...

Peace building often begins with the smallest of steps. Everyone's children need education; this is an interest shared globally. Everyone needs food and water and shelter. Again, a global interest.

I Meant The Lady Vols Would Win It All
Remember when I did my bracket for the men's tourney too bad because as bad as I had done in the Men's bracket, I would have nailed the Women's bracket. You see, my final four was Tennessee, UCONN, Stanford, and Georgetown. The Women's final four looks like Tennessee, UCONN, Stanford and LSU. N...

Taiwan Beer
In search of a basketball Googlewhack, I entered "Taiwan NBA" as a Google search. In 2.4 seconds, approximately 250,000 links piled up. For someone wishing to write about an obscure yet interesting topic, these results were astounding and confusing. Why so many links? Perhaps there is a National Bellydancing Association in Taiwan or a No Better Argument Taiwanese debate site?

SEC Ruins Everything!
Now I don't really mean that. It's not Georgia's fought that the Buckeyes didn't do what they should have done to make the tourney. It's an amazing thing what Georgia did and I'm sort of happy for them. But before Georgia won, the Buckeyes seemed to be in, at least Lunardi and CBS online thought ...

No, this sports diva is not a Wisconsin fan. At least not usually. If you are a frequent reader, you will know that I heart The Ohio State Buckeyes. How The Vols Will Win The NCAA Tourney
By my stating this, The Tennessee Volunteers will most likely lose in the first round. I hate that I just typed that. Everyone says that. Everyone tries to be all humble with their picks. F*** that. It's time to be cocky. I have no shame in my game. I only fill out ONE bracket each year and it ge...

The Excitement of The NBA
The NBA is having a year that they can be excited about. The fans are excited. With all the trades that happened, Gasol to LA, Shaq to Phoenix, Kidd to Dallas, and Wallace and all to Cleveland (the Larry Hughes "love" will be missed) excitement was felt. And of course we can't forget abou...
