Argo Drafted by Pirates in 43rd Round

University of Illinois junior center fielder Willie Argo (Davenport, Iowa/Assumption HS) was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 43rd round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday, bringing the total of current Illini players drafted to four. It is the most Illini taken in the draft since five Illini were drafted in 2005 and third-most since 1980.
