WE'RE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!!!
Who isn't going to a world series these days? AABC, AAU, CABA, NABF, USTOC, Triple Crown, USSSA, BPA, American Legion. I hope I didn't leave anyone out. With so many world series tournaments offered, it seems like it's a rare achievement NOT to be attending one of the season culminating events.

VIDEO - New home for the College World Series (2011)
Check out the video for the new home of the College World Series, beginning in 2011. It will still be in Omaha, Nebraska, but not in Rosenblatt Stadium. Too bad... Rosenblatt is a great venue for the CWS.

Check out the video of the new home for the College World Series, beginning in 2011. The site is still in Omaha, but it will no longer be Rosenblatt Stadium. I can't imagine the CWS without Rosenblatt, but it's shortly going to be a reality.

Fresno State and summer baseball
I'll be the first to say that I never thought Fresno State would win a game at the College World Series. Yet, the Bulldogs proved me wrong, early and often. In fact, the Bulldogs blitzed my pick to win the championship, the Rice Owls. It's a super (regional) kind of day
Omaha, Nebraska is the location. Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium is the location. And, the College World Series is the event. One that is fast approaching. After last night's contests, the NCAA Division I field has been cut to 16 teams, who will compete in the super regional round beginning this Friday (June 6) at various sites.

If you caught any of the NCAA baseball regional tournaments this weekend you know how many exciting games were being televised. Just a few years ago, the only college baseball games that were televised were on the Sunshine Network or games at the College World Series. I'm loving it now, though.
