CRYING FOUL
A video of high school teammates has taken the web by storm, and has many wondering what the refs were thinking during the game.
SENIOR LEADERSHIP
61-year-old man Alan Moore has made the football team at Faulkner University in Alabama. Moore played college ball when he was younger but gave it up to fight in Vietnam.
In Oklahoma, the Vinita High boys basketball team scored a basket on a slam dunk with only one second left on the clock against Locust Grove High...on an inbounds pass from the opposite baseline. It was a great looking play, except for one problem: Vinita High was already winning by 12 points.
Here's what happened: With one second left in the game, Locust Grove High makes...
THE OLD RAZZLE DAZZLE
It’s nice to see that trick plays are still alive and well in football. Manor High School in Texas was trailing Hendrickson 49-46 with just two seconds remaining. Manor was 43 yards away from the game-winning touchdown so a trick play was the only option. Quarterback Jacorey McQueen did a nice job of stepping up in the pocket to throw the ball to Avery Mack who pitched it...
PUNCHER'S CHANCE
The fight erupted Thursday night after the Chavez quaterback ran out of bounds and was hit late by a Lamar player…It’s nice to see cheap shots, late hits, throwing punches, and an overall lack of discipline is taught at the high school level as well…-TO

IN THE ZONE
When it comes to legendary high school football games, Al Bundy has nothing on McKenzie High's Will Totten.
LET 'EM PLAY!
A player raising his hand before he scored a TD has cost one school a chance at an undefeated season and state title.
ON A WING AND A PRAYER
A 39-37 high school game played by a bunch of 15-17 year old white kids surpasses any sporting event that happened this week, excluding Tebow. You know these are middle class kids when the backboard has a light for when the horn goes off. Although their ball-handling or penetration game is not as strong as the top high school kids, the ending will be hard to surpass...
SOMETHING OUTTA NOTHING
Normally, when a quarterback loses control of a snap during a football game, he’s usually forced to either take the sack to prevent a fumble or try to find a way to quickly get rid of the football–but it’s never easy to pull off. So when a high school running back manages to turn what many would consider a dead play into a 55-yard touchdown–it’s pretty...
RUNNING WILD
Illinois high school running back Ty Isaac rushed for 515 yards in a single state championship game. One of his teammates hauled in 11 catches for 331 yards in the same game.
You have to check out this high school basketball players amazing no-look, behind-the-back 3 pointer…ON THE WRONG HOOP!
Usually in basketball hustling always pays off, but in this instance it backfires in the form of 3 points for the other team. Watch as this kid makes a diving save for a ball heading out-of-bounds, but as he throws it around his back the ball somehow...
Oftentimes in the wonderful — yet violent — world of football we see tempers flaring on the field. Unsportsmanlike conduct and unnecessary roughness penalties are a part of the game at all levels. What do you expect from a sport that is based around 250-pound guys trying to hurt each other? On rare occasions, we [...]
RAISES A FEW FLAGS
A Kentucky high school player pointed to the sky after scoring a touchdown to honor a recently deceased friend - and drew a flag from the referee for doing so.
THROWDOWN
What the above sack by Stone Bridge (Va.) High’s Jonathan Allen lacked in subtlety was more than made up for with outright ferocity. Also: a well-deserved unnecessary roughness penalty. I’m shocked that a backhoe wasn’t required to dig that poor quarterback out of the turf. Allen’s planting of McLean (Va.) High quarterback Danny Hecht during [...]
HEAVE HO
Glendale, CA -- Tied 42-42, 1.4 seconds on the the clock -- Andy Ketsoyan from AGBU High School (Pasadena) hits the game winning full court shot to steal the victory. Vs Montebello High... Full story at Bob's Blitz ~ http://www.bobsblitz.com
OFFICIAL STANCE
In a move straight out of Rasheed Wallace's wildest dreams, a high school hoops player tossed the referee (literally) after the ref had tossed the player from the game for fighting.

COACHES GONE WILD
A middle school assistant football coach allegedly choked one of his players, tried to fight the head coach, and then was tased by the cops.
SMASHING!
It’s a once in a lifetime experience watching a player tear down a backboard. I remember sitting near the floor when Tractor Traylor tore down the rim. The game was delayed at least 30 minutes while they put the replacement up. It’s unclear if a high school facility has enough resources to replace a backboard. So, do they just cancel the game?

TOUCHING MOMENT
Trent Glaze is a high school senior Fairfield Union High School in Ohio. He's the captain of the football team, the homecoming king and the head coach Tom McCurdy, he's his "right-hand man". Glaze is a football lover and wants to be a coach some day.McCurdy said that he can see Glaze on the sidelines one day. "He listens hard to what we try to teach, and he gets after the guys...
TRAGIC CIRCUMSTANCES
Terrible news out of Michigan as Wes Leonard, a 16-year-old high school basketball player, collapsed and died on the court just moments after hitting the game winning shot that capped off his team's perfect 20-0 regular season.
WHIPPING BOY
Yes, in 2010, a high school basketball in Mississippi felt he could whip players during practice with a weightlifting belt and not suffer any consequences.
PRICK MOVE
A Ohio high school football player put tacks in his gloves for the postgame handshakes, resulting in 27 of the players having to get tetanus shots.
OFFICIAL BEATING
Here we are preparing for a vacation to Sarasota over the holiday weekend. Heard something about a tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico. Time to check the Sarasota newspaper for the latest. Then, there it was. A football player form tackling a referee.
You know this isn’t the first time a ref has been attacked in Sarasota, right?

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?
When a football team is holding on to a lead late in the fourth quarter and they have the chance to run the clock out, the smart thing to do is run out the clock instead of trying to put more points on the scoreboard. Unfortunately for one high school football team, they had to learn this the hard way and the worst thing is–it happened during the state playoffs...
