Mayweather Takes His Celebrity Basketball Seriously

Yardbarker was at the Gridiron Hoops celebrity basketball game in Miami during Super Bowl week and some big name stars battled for supremacy on the hardwood. The participants included NFL stars like Terrell Owens, DeAngelo Hall, Jerry Porter, Nick Collins, and Yardbarker's own Daniel Wilcox, entertainers like Big Tigger and DJ Clue, and boxing champ Floyd Mayweather. Yardbarker blog The Global Sports Fraternity was there to capture video of the event -- yes, Mayweather really was that intense about the "friendly" game...



Rap group F.L.Y. performed their hit song Swag Surfin' and one of the group members also played in the game (guess which one)...

Funny Moments from EA's Madden Bowl

NFL stars came out to EA's annual Madden Bowl tournament during Super Bowl week and Yardbarker blog The Global Sports Fraternity was there to make jokes.



By the way, this is the fourth time poor Mark Sanchez has been subject to unwanted advances from Yardbarker. The first was at last year's Super Bowl in an interview with me, the second was at last year's NFL draft when we asked him about his touchable locks, and the third was at EA's Rookie Madden Bowl when we asked him for dating advice. Mark, we do it because we love you!

Some Super Bowl interviews are... different

Yardbarker blog The Global Sports Fraternity was in South Florida with Yardbarker during Super Bowl week. Henry from the GSF interviewed NFL legend Tony Dorsett, Yardbarker athlete Ovie Mughelli of the Falcons, NFL draft prospect Dez Bryant, and Drew Brees' trainer Todd Durkin. There were more than a few awkward moments...

DirecTV's Celebrity Beach Bowl
